Olita & Steve would be best named if we called them America's Sweethearts. Honest to goodness, these two are about as sweet, thoughtful & genuine as they come. When I think of these two as a color I would pin them as bright, cheery yellows. So when we arrived on their wedding day and saw that yummy color spattered about, it fit them perfectly. Their wedding was a true reflection of them from head to toe. These two got married outdoors at the lovely Kubota Gardens and had their reception following at 415 Westlake. They really made their day their own in every way shape and form and we had an absolute blast!

In other news, we are loving fall here in Seattle. We've been drinking way too much apple cider and I've been burning pumpkin spice candles like they are going out of style. I just can't help myself with those things. Every year, without fail, the second it feels the slightest bit like fall, the pumpkin candles come out and it's like my crack. I think I go through withdrawals at the end of pumpkin spice candle burning season... it's a sad, sad time. So I am enjoying this perfect fall season while I can and taking it all in pumpkin spice candles and all.

Chris & I are coming off a crazy couple of weeks of travel... NYC to San Fran and just returned to Seattle this morning. It has been a whirlwind and we are hitting the ground running now that we're home for a short stint. So excited to share with you this sweet wedding!

Galen & Jeff got married at Seattle Tennis Club on a beautiful Friday in Seattle. We have had such a blast working with these two. They are down to earth, easy going, and sweet people to the core. These two have been living on the east coast but were both west coast natives. Their wedding had to be planned bi-coastally since it took place here in Seattle yet there have been living out east. That always comes with a unique set of challenges, but you would never know for a second by looking at how beautifully they put everything together for their day. These two put their stamp on their day, it was clean, classy and beautiful & fit them to a tee.

These guys had us bring our Smilebooth to their wedding and had some seriously funny moments in the booth, you guys can check those out here. Enjoy a little bit of Galen & Jeff!!!

Here is just a frame from Katie & Tristen's Chicago wedding... I am such a tease, I know. I have been dying to show this wedding but it has been promised to a publication who said I could just show one image until it's full feature comes out this winter in print. Either way I just had to show one. This wedding was full of whimsy and fun with details that go on for miles. For me it was like being a kid in a candy shop :) You'll see more of those later, but for now, enjoy a quick frame of Katherine & Tristen.

I have been a very bad blogger recently! So bad even my mother told me I needed to put up a blog post! Don't think I have forgotten this sweet little spot on the map, this is just the peak of busy for us and quite a few of our weddings, like this wedding, have been promised to print publications making it hard for us to blog them. I've had some "dear abby" requests, as well as some requests for a blog post on what books I am currently reading as well as some post processing questions.. I've got those posts in the works for you guys. You are also in for a fun surprise coming your way this week with a SUPER fun giveaway so stay tuned!

Kristie & John brought the deep south to the pacific northwest the weekend of their wedding! These two were born and bred in Mississippi and moved out to Seattle for Kristie to finish school and John to get a graphic design job. These two brought all of their family and friends out to experience this little piece of heaven we call Seattle for their wedding day. I've never heard so many darling accents in one place. It had the overwhelming feeling of nostalgia since Chris' family and my parents were both from Oklahoma which is *kindof* the south, all I know is they say "ya'll" which classifies it as 'southern' by my standards :)

Some of the sweetest people you could imagine were all in one place, there is truth to the phrase "southern charm" and this wedding had it written all over it! Kristie & John are some of the most gracious, sweet and compassionate people you will ever meet and we had the pleasure of working with some of our favorite Seattle Vendors at this wedding.

Seriously, every time your posts pop up in my google reader I squeal like a 2 year old! Then I pin! I don't usually comment, but today just wanted to say "wow." It's the emotion. People can't teach you that.

Seriously, every time your posts pop up in my google reader I squeal like a 2 year old! Then I click through and try to pick just one or two to pin. I don't usually comment, but today just wanted to say "wow." It's the emotion. People can't teach you that stuff.
