Just another blog stalker here. I was looking at all the amazing shoots you've had the past few months and this one just stands out to me. The colors, the flowers, the light, the shadows, everything looks is so beautiful and you took some incredible photos. The bride and groom - one of the best looking couples on your blog, and you've got a lot of them. Her eyes and smile are ridiculous and you can't get much more suave than the groom. Lovin' the purple and green color scheme. This is def a personal favorite.
I love all your work, but I love the idea behind the shadow of the groom beside the bride... you amaze me!
Being a photographer myself, I always wonder how I'm going to pick a photographer, when I have such high expectations! But I'm quite confident that when that time comes, I will be giving you a call!
Your best wedding yet!
Sarah,
You did an amazing job. I'm not going to lie, when you asked us to pose a certain way I thought to myself this lady has a few screws loose, but looking at the pictures those were truly the most amazing ones. You have an amazing vision and a great attitude. Keep up the good work!!!
P.S. Your husband took a few pictures where four guys were standing around the pool table (we copied a famous rat pack picture). I can't see all of those pics. Can you please add them to the album. I would love to buy one.
one of the most beautiful brides i've ever seen! and, as always, fab photos :) congrats on making these your own!
i really enjoy checking out your blog. you have such a unique and beautiful approach to creating epic photos. good work.
There are so many amazing photos in this collection.
There are so many amazing photos in this collection.
what a beautiful bride. your work is always so much fun to look at, Sarah--i love the use of shadows of people.
Boom shaka laka laka boom,,, love it. What a beautiful bride and the groom looks like an old classic actor. Not old himself but old as in old movies. You know,,, James Dean era. I love James Dean!
Gorgeous! The pictures of Maureen are stunning. Love her purple shoes!
Really Beautiful. The Bride's eyes made me stop and stare. Your images are unique, but still classic. I continue to be more and more impressed with your work.
Love it. Love you. Love Chris. Love Maureen loving Vitaliy. Love the wedding. Love it all. You rock, sister.
Sarah...You did an amazing job! I was actually just talking to one of my friends yesterday who couldn't stop talking about these photographs.
Ridiculous!!!
Wow, you've outdone yourself with this one! And congrats on your magazine features too!
ahhhh the old gorgeous sunset with the perfect amount of rain trick, so as to be amazing for photos but not too much to trouble the bride. I forgot how to do that one, remind me! ha! awesome awesome capture and recognition of the opportunity during a rare weather moment!!
(so I guess I won't try kicking up the dust during sunset next bridal shoot, darn!)
Sick! That's an intense variety of images, but it's super cohesive in its narrative...great, great job and they look like an amazing couple!
These are amazing!!! WOW! I love so many of them! You did an incredible job!!!
She's got some eyes! Love that detail shot of her lips & the flare shot through her veil. Beautiful!
This is one of my favorite posts you guys have done. The groom's shadow photo (where the bride is shown) is gorgeous and darling. When I need inspiration + escape from the grad school life I come here. :) You're great, darling.
I can't even describe how amazed I am at these photos ... you are SO SO talented, Sarah ... we'd really love to showcase one of your real weddings ... perhaps this one?? I will call you this week.
~xoxo
Sarah, you just don't understand. Well, you probably do. We are here in the Bahamas and I am bawling (if you remember the ceremony) in front of strangers. I can't thank you enough for the emotions you caught. I love Vitaliy (and you and Chris) more than words can understand. We love you and Chris and that's all we've been able to talk about our whole honeymoon.....thank you so much and LYSICO!!!!!
. That's what I say when there are no words. Just a simple period, to communicate that what you have done is so incredible, that there are just no words.
You amaze me!
.
love the backlit image of her with the rain. so different from your normal stuff but very cool.
d
SWEET shot of the bride and the shadow of the groom! Great job.
Hey Todd! The "fairy dust" is actually sprinkles from the rain... typical Seattle for you! Turned out pretty rad though. I am learning to use the rain to my advantage! ;)
ok, those are ridiculous.ly good. I'm not sure whose hotter, Marueen or Vitaliy. No I guess I know...
absolutely love the third to last with the light and dust backlit. Is that sparkle dust? And as always (sigh) amazing portraits. Im gonna ask for 90 minutes next week and see how that goes ha!
so all in all, continued amazing meteoric growth Sarah and Chris! Congrats
