I love the shot on the dock, with her veil flowing behind her... and too many others to bother mentioning, because I'd be mentioning pretty much all of them. Love the light, even in the reception photos.

You did a wonderful job capturing all of them. I loved the angles and the colors.
G.R.E.A.T. job as always!

I just love your work Sarah. Just gorgeous! You are such an inspiartion :)
Stunning photos! And the details of this wedding? A-Mazing! The flowers, the bridesmaids' shoes, the cake, all of it= loveliness :D
First off, gorgeous images as usual. Secondly, Fitzsimmons is great, but how can you edit pictures of pretty people in love while listening to songs about heartbreak and divorce? Just kidding really, but don't you wish that man would put out some happy tunes? His music is too pretty to be sad.
dock shots are amazing. great light and color!
Love the ones under the tree and on the dock! Lovely lovely photos!
OH my... LOVE LOVE LOVE these images... amazing!
Whoops, forgot to leave my name above-
Avedon fan :)
Yay!! lauren gets to have a baby niece. Super exciting :) I just went to Avedon's exhibit in NY. BEAUTIFUL work. I got his big ol fat book with the pink helmet girl on it. My favorite is definitely Dovima posing with the elephants. I also love seeing the thought process of him picking which image goes in the magazines with his red pencil marks. He is very inspiring :)
What a beautiful set of photos! I was able to share in this big day for Ginny and Gough and you captured their joy perfectly. Thanks for sharing.
PS My husband is a painter and has gained much of his inspiration from Richard Avedon. It was great to hear that you enjoyed such a special exhibit. He really set the bar when it comes to beautiful pictures, but you are well on your way. Best wishes for a bright future.
Absolutley fabulous photos!
Her dress...OMG to die for, where did she find it? It looks vintage and homemade, so delicate and perfect.
Oh my!!!

oooh eeeeep! Where's that delete comment button when you need it?!? I pushed submit the first time before noticing my spellcheck decided on "infections" instead of "infectious"... I tried to change it before it posted, really i did! *le sigh* (blushing).
Ok, the happiness just spilled out of those pictures! Ginny has an infectious smile, you can tell her laugh is awesome. And you can totally tell she gets it from her mom! too cute :) xo

Loved every single one. You bring out the special moments, love, tenderness, style and beauty in the people and the day. And all that couldn't happen to better people.
Fav! FTW! You need a 'like' feature so I can give you a million thumbs-ups!
Everytime I look at this blog, and truly see all of the amazing work that you produce, I get so excited that Kari and I are able to work with you and Chris... I can't wait!
@Joop wow. thank you so much for your kind words.... your comment really meant a lot :)
So, your photos are always fantastic. But this series goes beyond. Some of these images make me think of classic paintings. Unbelievably powerful.
I know you're gaining recognition as a photographer, but I have to think you are one of the most underestimated photographers currently.
I am more of a B&W journalistic photographer myself, but the color photo of the bride with the wind catching the scarf for instance - that's a true lasting classic image.
LOVE that bee shot! these all rock!!
Yeah I understand you, sometimes it seems that I am always editing xD
The pics are wonderful I love the last one!
Beautiful pix, wedding and couple! I love all the colors of their wedding and the bride's shoes are so cool!
What an incredible wedding! Beautiful job, Sarah. I love all of the fabrics and textures, and they look like they had a perfect day. They are so lucky they had you to capture it all!
The awesomeness of these are hard to explain. Big fan of your work for sure! and I heart Seattle too.

Wow Sarah. These are so beautiful and I can totally see the artistic freedom you had in creating them! My favorites are the shawl image of the bride and this last one with the beautiful reds and oranges. Love it!
AYKM? I am FLOORED! These are stellar images. LOVE the bride's shoes...and what a beautiful couple. This shoot did not disappoint!
We are SO looking forward to our shoot in August with you guys...crazy thing...we may have adopted by that point...{if the timing works out just right...}

I'm so bored of telling you how great you are Sarah. I'm not doing it again...

You're f'in' amazing! :) Don't get all big headed on me though!
shoot! one more thing i forgot to mention...the image of your bride with the wrap blowing in the wind...omg............enough said. i love it. love love love.
SARAH! wow. i think this seriously might be my favorite wedding of yours this summer! i feel like i didn't even have to be there to know it was amazing...AM I RIGHT?
i love every single detail they included in their wedding. i loved the location of the b+g portraits, so darling! i love her fabric wrap and the way all the colors play against each other. you know how i'm a fan of horizontal images...but i think my favorite is the vertical one of them against that really beautiful cement/gray wall- looking at each other, holding hands, forehead to forehead--beautiful union in every way.
