We were swept away to a sort of wonderland a couple weeks ago when we had the pleasure of shooting Nina in the most fantastical mid-century mod house I have ever stepped foot in. It was a mid-century lovers dream. Chris and I were swooning. Not to mention the fact that Nina, is a brunette form of Margot Tenenbaum who is probably my favorite female movie character of all time. With all her quirky charm and beauty she was a perfect match for the scene.

We were pretty stoked to try out some of the new Kodak Portra 400 film during this shoot. We love our NC & VC so I wasn't' sure it would stand a chance next to those beauts but my oh my was I ever wrong. It is just magnificent. The grain is perfect the colors are spot on. Not too vibrant and not too muted. I'm really pleased with what Kodak did here. I still don't have all of our rolls back but some of the film images are scattered throughout this post. I'm sure you'll be able to tell which ones are digital pulls and which ones are film. Enjoy and happy Wednesday!

Oh I just love this shoot Sarah. Love mid-century and love Nina's look. That trio of images in the middle of her on the chair with legs up, followed by stretched out on the bed, followed by head & shoulders in front of the gorgeous wallpaper is AMAZING. Love.

I don't even know what to say about these images besides breathtaking... my favorite, if i had to choose, is probably the image of her stretching her arms out on the bed.... beautiful.
