Jen & Matt were inspired by the fabulous era of the 1920's for their fun Seattle wedding! It is always refreshing to see people do something a little different. I was so in love with the flapper girl dresses for the bridesmaids, the bold red lips and romantic hair styling of that era.
Jen was a breathtaking bride, Matt's face when he saw her for the first time was absolutely priceless, he gasped as he turned around to see her. I feel so fortunate that I get to share in these moments with people, to be right there as they experience and encounter love on such an incredible level. It never gets old.
I think one of my favorite parts about this day were all of the fantastic little details from the era, the headpieces for each of the bridesmaids, the jewelry, the charm of it all was so much fun. It's all the little things that come together to make something what it is. Jen said she ordered most of her pieces of Etsy, a site that could easily empty my pocketbook in a mere hour if I let it. It is so loaded with goodness I am weak in it's presence :)
Today we are heading to Chicago. I am going to be checking something off of my "bucket list" tomorrow morning... one of our fantastic clients and friends who works at Oprah snagged us some golden tickets to one of her last shows. So Chris and I will be at a live taping come tomorrow morning! I'm hoping it is her "favorite things" show, fingers crossed! haha. Have a very happy Wednesday guys!
