Being married to you has been two of the most beautiful years of my life....
Not necessarily because it has been pretty in every moment, but because you love me even when its ugly; when i'm unhappy; when i'm grumpy or say stupid things.
and I love you even though you continue to put me in dutch ovens ;)

When marriage has been hard, we fight for it. you fight for me. I fight for you. because that is what you do when you believe in something to the core of your being.... that is what you do when you love someone...and i love you.
You have made me happier than I ever thought possible in these past two years being married to you. happy anniversary love :) looking forward to many more with you.

Chris surprised me this weekend and planned a little anniversary adventure for us in Victoria B.C.   It was a great time to get away shut off the world for a bit and remind ourselves of what is really important in life, re-connect and dream together.  We had an amazing time walking around the city, people watching, eating gelato three times a day :) and lots of encouraging talks for our future... It was just what the doctor ordered.
Anyone who cares to see some more from our Victoria get away can check out a little slideshow I made for Chris and I here:
The song that is playing during the slideshow has been one of Chris and I's favorites for the past few weeks. As soon as we stumbled upon it we went out and bought the album.  The song is "To Build a Home" By The Cinematic Orchestra featuring Patrick Watson.  It is a stop-you-in-your-tracks beautiful song and right now we can't get enough of it...enjoy.

Also, I have lived in Victoria almost my whole life and it was neat to see this beautiful city through your fantastic eyes!
