I cut my Marfa experience a bit short yesterday to be back for my wedding today. While I waited for my flight yesterday in the DFW airport I was able to edit a couple snaps from the trip. However, for better, juicer stuff you can head on over to the marfa trip blog where I know the ladies are faithfully posting.
I can't even begin to express the good times that I had on this trip. It was so refreshing for me and I came back with lots of new friends and great idea's. Sometimes getting away with some lady-friends in the industry is just what you need. I feel totally refreshed. re-energized and ready to take on the world ;)
On my plane ride back I almost finished Seth Godin's book, Tribes. The book really met me where I was at. It is a reminder that fears get in the way of us all doing what we want to do in this life. I'm letting faith replace my fears.... I'll probably do a little write up on the book once I finish.
These girls encouraged the crap out of me. We had lots of soul talks while riding around on banana bikes and good laughs over margarita's and you tube video's! ;) More to come... off to shoot a great wedding today!
