I would just like to take a moment to recognize my 100th post on this little blog where I am able to share little bits and pieces of my heart and my love for what I do with you beautiful people. I know this is a photo blog so I don't expect many of you to read through my badly written, oftentimes 'grammatically incorrect' little weekly/daily on-goings that I write in these text sections. Although I am fully aware I do not have anything remotely "profound" by any sense of the word to share, I do appreciate those of you who do take a moment to read the nonsensical on-goings of my life/ our work/ my heart ;)

As funny and as dorky as this sounds, I have been waiting for this post to turn up so that I would no longer have a zero in front of all of the numbers i.e. 099, 098.... I just think it's ugly. So now that we are in the 100's we are ridding in pretty land and that makes me happy.

Other things that make me happy:
-This frame from my shoot today with some of my best friends in the world!
-The new i phone...... It's CUT & PASTE time baby!!
-Molly Moon's ice cream... if you ever come to Seattle you must not leave until you try this!!
-Area51, a furniture store I stumbled upon this week and just adore!

What really makes me not happy:
- My allergies being all friggin crazy this week! Stand behind me Pollen-count!
- When I purchase my shooting shoes from Clarks and they are ugly as SIN because it is the only option available to me for black comfortable shoes. gross. Don't Judge! I've had the hardest time finding comfortable shooting shoes. I'm keeping my fingers crossed these work. What I have found is the uglier... the more comfortable so I think these are going to do just fine! :)

Enjoy the weekend everyone!

Cole Haan Nike shoes for relative style + comfort. The best!

Ha! I rocked the Clarks at weddings for awhile but moved onto the least ugliest model of Finn Comforts, a Euro orthopedic shoe that has saved me many a trip to the chiropractor.

Oh, the struggle of good comfy shoes. I know it all to well. I do love my dansko clogs for that, even if I look like a nurse. Every once in awhile, I'll decide to try something cuter for the wedding day. I never make it past dinner and have to switch back to the backup clogs in the car. Good luck with the shoes. Love this frame of your friends! Great use of open space!

Coming out of the woodwork to say "Happy 100th!!"-yes that does deserve and an extra exclamation.
I love your work Sarah, you're so creative, inspiring and completely honest. I look forward to 100 more posts.

You should all try "Me Too" shoes! They are all cute and have a really thick rubber sole (that's not only comfy, but quiet) and padding on the insole! It's all I buy for shooting, and almost all I buy for daily wear:) http://www.metooshoes.com/

I completely understand your shoe dilemma. It is true the uglier and more revolting they are to your style buds the better they seem to treat your feet during a wedding. I feel like I should wear a disclaimer to weddings that says: "Please do not judge me based on my hideous orthopedic shoes. Seriously I have better taste than this." I'm constantly searching for comfy shoes that are socially acceptable. I hope your Clarks are kind to your feet.

PS: Molly Moons is now on my list of places to visit in Seattle. I can't resist awesome ice cream. Its like crack to me.

Awesome picture! :)

Hahaha I love that I'm not the only one who is so confused as to why they don't make cute, comfortable shoes that we can rock while we shoot all day!!! But if you are looking for some comfy shoes...I got my Clarks ("un-structured") at Nordstrom Rack for $60...soo comfy and not TOO embarrassing ;)
