Meet the most lovely Zida, of Studio Z. She is absolutely incredible. We hired Zida to do our business cards and some script cards for us back in January and we were totally blown away with the results. Zida is a true craftswoman, she focuses on fine letterpress printing and is known for having thick-as-heck paper. I'm a sucker for amazing couture-like paper and absolutely LOVE the way the paper and the letterpress feel in your hands.

We liked Zida so much that on our way down the coast we stopped off along the Mendocino Coast of Cali to see her studio. I was like a kid in a candy shop. We were surrounded with beautiful old Heidelberg Letterpress machines that just ebbed with character. Her studio is incredible and as she walked us through the painstaking process of how each individual letter is created and then pressed. I grew to have even a deeper respect for Zida and her craft. Zida had been doing this for more than 24 years and knows letterpress like the back of her hand...she is nothing shy of incredible and our business cards turned out beautifully. It is one of those cards that you leave in your hand for a little longer, rub between your fingers and feel the beautiful heart that was put into it.

Studio Z does phenomenal work. All photographers in need of some tasty business cards and Brides-to-be in need of some amazing invites contact her at 707-964-2522.
Your business card is often times your first impression... make it fabulous ;) Enjoy some photos of Zida, her crazy little studio-cat and our business cards!

Oh man!! We just did plastic cards, but now I want THESE! Those are gorgeous and it is super cool to see a tiny bit of the processes - we're all artists, the card is kindof important.
